About the space.
Situated in the heart of Corktown, the Michigan Avenue project involves repurposing the 20,000 square feet Spaulding Building and a ground-up development on adjacent vacant land. This project is in the shadows of Ford Company’s new mobility center anchored by the rehabilitation of the historic Michigan Central Station.
- The existing 22,084 square foot building will be converted into multi-family residential units including approximately 3,000 square feet of ground floor retail/restaurant space facing Michigan Avenue.
- The ground-up building construction will be approximately 60,000 square feet consisting of 86 apartments above ground floor parking.
- Approximately 3,742 square feet of amenities will include a fitness center, pool, lounge area, and outdoor green space.
- In total, the 82,084 square feet project consisting of 104 residential apartments between both buildings will comprise of studios,1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms, and all units will have balconies.
- This project is in the development phase and will be delivered by late 2027.
